Eagle Pathways enters into agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce to promote American Education in China.

Eagle Pathways, a leading education management company, enters into agreement with U.S. Commercial Service on American Education in China.

(Guangzhou)- September 7 2016-  Eagle Pathways was invited by the US Consulate’s  Principal Commercial Officer Darrel Ching  to connect with selected U.S. boarding schools on August 10. The U.S. Commercial Service invited top education management companies and agents to the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou to join this event. Eagle Pathways was the only U.S. based company asked to join. Six prominent U.S. high schools joined the event and Vice Consul Jerry Wang provided a Visa briefing to attendees.  This exchange has already resulted in direct cooperation agreements between the schools and Eagle Pathways.

The relationship between the U.S. Consulate and Eagle Pathways, as an American Education Management Company, continues to evolve. Eagle Pathways formally entered into a business agreement with the Consulate’s Commercial Services organization to jointly promote United States education opportunities in China. They jointly held meetings with Chinese Bank management on September 8th.  The participating banks were Bank of China, CITIC Bank and China Postal Savings Bank.

Dirk Thomas, Chairman of Eagle Pathways, discussed the evolving nature of education in the United States and urged senior executives from the three banks to encourage top tier clients to look “beyond grades and test scores”. Mr. Thomas, IBM Vice President (retired) and Stanford University Graduate, says he “hopes for continued support from the U.S. Consulate in its business to promote U.S. education throughout China in the months and years ahead. [He] believes the Eagle Pathways business model is a win-win approach by helping students and their families throughout China to fulfill their education dreams through experts and teachers – the true experts in education – in the United Sates.

Ms. Catherine Werner, Commercial Officer with the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, commenting on Eagle Pathways as an American Education company outsourcing services from the U.S. says “this [Eagle Pathways’} business is the first she has seen of its kind in China.” Moreover, she hopes to quickly help promote education in Tier-2 cities.
