General requirements:

US: All candidates must:

  • Be A Native speaker of American English
  • Be A Graduate of a US University
  • Be A U.S. Citizen
  • Have at least five years prior work experience (except for intern and new graduate positions).

China: All candidates must:

  • Have strong English Fluency (equal to 110 TOEFL or above)
  • Be a University graduate (US University preferred)
  • Have work experience in China for an English-speaking company (US, Canada, Australia, UK).
  • Have at least five years prior work experience (except for intern and new graduate positions).

  1. Writing Coach

Come work with our team of experienced writing coaches helping young people prepare for a bright future! Our writing coaches work with clients to improve their writing skills so they can be successful as university students in the US. Coaches also work with students to polish their university admissions essays, resume’s, internship applications, etc.

 

What does an Eagle Pathways writing coach do?:

  • Writing coaches work as part of a team to support each client, usually with a project manager, an interview training coach, and a personal development coach. We believe clients benefit from working with a strong team, and we believe our people function best when they can focus on their specialties.
  • Writing coaches at Eagle Pathways only work with up to four clients, unlike many of our competitors who require their writers to work with 20 or more clients. At Eagle Pathways, you will get to know your clients so you can really coach them and help them to succeed.
  • Our writing coaches do NOT write admissions essays, personal statements, etc. for students. We believe students need to learn to write for themselves so they can succeed as students at US universities.
  • All writing coaches are required to complete Eagle Pathways Writing Coach certification before they can start working with clients. Newly certified coaches are paired with an experienced writing coach (under the supervision of our Head Writing Coach) until they complete their probationary period.

Additional Requirements – Writing Coach.

In addition to the general requirements for US team members, writing coach candidates:

  • Must be an accomplished English writer. You will be asked to submit writing samples as part of the application process, and you will need to successful complete an editing and coaching assessment.
  • Must have experience as a certified teacher (state certified) or a professional writer. Please describe your experience as part of your cover letter.
  • Must have experience working with young people in a teaching, counseling, coaching or similar role.

We prefer candidates who have

  • A degree and/or experience in teaching English to non-English speakers (TESOL/TESL/TEFL)
  • Fluency in a foreign language and experience living outside the US
  • Experience helping students ally to US Universities.
  • A happy, positive personality!

 

  1. Project Manager

Come join our team of experienced project managers helping young people get a great US education! Project managers work with clients to help them get the training and coaching they need and to apply and be accepted to a top US University. It is a big job, but it can be very rewarding.

 

What does an Eagle Pathways Project Manager do?:

 

  • Project managers are responsible for developing university application strategies, completing submitting and tracking university applications, and managing all aspects of a client’s progress.
  • Project managers work as team leaders to help clients get the training and coaching they need from a writing coach, interviewing coach, personal development coach, and other specialists as needed. When the client needs help, the project manager ensures that the right team members get involved quickly
  • Project managers work directly with clients to manage their university applications, training and coaching. They also work closely with Client Contact Representatives to keep clients’ families informed and to gather additional information from the family that is needed to complete university applications, visas, etc.
  • Project managers track and report progress on a regular schedule to the client, the client’s family, and to Eagle Pathways management.

Additional Requirements – Project manager:

In addition to the general requirements for US team members, writing coach candidates:

  • Must be an experienced project manager. Please describe your experience and relevant certifications as part of your cover letter.
  • Must have experience leading a cross functional team of professionals, preferably across multiple locations.
  • Must have strong writing and organizational skills.

We prefer candidates who have

  • A degree and/or experience in a technical field or certification in project management.
  • Fluency in a foreign language and experience living outside the US
  • Experience helping students apply to US Universities.
  • Experience managing people
  • Experience with online project management tools
  • A happy, positive personality!

 

  1. University Relations Manager

Eagle Pathways is looking for an experienced University Relations to join our US team.

 

What does a University relations manager do:

  • University Relations managers:
    • build relationships with key US universities and boarding school partner
    • monitor developments in university admissions programs and inform Eagle Pathways management of trends
    • help identify summer program/internship opportunities for clients, and
  • University Relations Managers work through their relationship contacts to advocate for clients with universities as needed.

Additional Requirements – University Relations Manager:

In addition to the general requirements for US team members, University Relations Manager candidates:

  • Must have at least three years experience in university or government relations. Please describe your experience as part of your cover letter.
  • Must have experience coordinating with team of professionals across multiple locations.
  • Must have experience managing people in a business or educational organization.
  • Must have strong writing and organizational skills.

We prefer candidates who have

  • A degree and/or experience in a relevant field (education, law, government).
  • Fluency in a foreign language and experience living outside the US
  • Experience with online collaboration tools
  • A happy, positive personality!

 

  1. Treasury/Financial Analyst

Eagle Pathways is growing and needs an experienced financial analyst to join our Finance team.

 

What does a Financial Analyst do?

  • Manage treasury operations to manage currency transactions and ensure each Eagle Pathways company has cash to support operations.
  • Manage relationships with international banks in the US and in Asia
  • Work with the accounting and tax teams to ensure treasury transactions are appropriately planned, executed and recorded.
  • Support business controls and compliance programs.
  • Create and track budgets for Eagle Pathways’ US operations.
