Critical Thinking is an Eagle Pathways’ program that helps you learn to think not what to think, We aim to have students seek truth, solve problems, understand other points of view, and lead in a structured manner. It improves personal and formal communication. Our Critical Thinking program can be divided into building three core skills: curiosity, skepticism and humility.
Design Thinking is an Eagle Pathways program that is promoted from belief that thinking about design in a human way solves real problems. You develop self-efficacy, collaborative confidence and emotional intelligence when the approach is applied to real-world challenges design – in hardware products, software and services of all kinds. Plus, you lean to adopt feedback as useful and actionable information to solve problems. You learn to handle change and emerging technology comfortably.
Eagle Pathways’ Creative Thinking program builds student skill to think “outside of the box”. Creative thinking is a way of looking at problems or situations from a fresh perspective that suggests unorthodox solutions. Creative thinking can be stimulated both by an unstructured process such as brainstorming, and by a structured approach such as lateral thinking. Creative thinking abilities make use of completely different methods when compared with critical and design thinking abilities; involves a lot more open and playful approach and builds attitude.
Our Visual Thinking program is about “image thinking” thoughts that are directed or associated with images. Visual thinking comes in many forms, and chances are that you’re already using a few of them already to help you organize your thoughts, either individually or as a team. You are introduced to tools and methods to help visualize ideas, perform thought experiments or express ideas and thoughts non-verbally and to further collaboration and express concepts.
Our Debate & Speech program provides the fundamentals of argumentation and debate so that students learn fundamental skills necessary to enter more structured debate formats.s. We cover argument theory, basic debate research skills, "flowing". Of course, we build on our core Thinking programs.
McKinsey & Company, a prestigious global management consulting firm, undertook a study to bridge the skill gap in education, training and sourcing in 2019. They conclude the skill gap will only worsen in the future.
